Hank Leffingwell 83, of Wilsall, MT passed away on July 19, 2025, at the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, following a short illness. He was surrounded by his loved ones.

Hank was born on February 5, 1942, in Livingston, MT, to parents George Leffingwell Sr. and Mary Bridgman Leffingwell. He grew up on the family ranch on Brackett Creek, 10 miles west of Clyde Park, MT. Hank attended all 8 years of grade school in a country school on Brackett Creek. He graduated from Clyde Park High School in 1960.

Hank married the love of his life, Marcia, on May 6, 1968. They continued to live and work on the family ranch until 2001 when they moved to Ekalaka, MT to be closer to Marcia's family. There Hank worked for several years for the Wolentz Ranch. He then went to work for A & A Stieg delivering propane, a job he dearly loved. He got to visit with people on a daily basis and he always had a story to tell. He worked there until his retirement in 2015. In 2019, Hank and Marcia moved back to his beloved Bridger Mountains and to be closer to the kids.

Hank is survived by Marcia, his wife of 57 years; son, Bill of Wilsall, MT; daughter, Vicki (Clint) of Billings, MT; Granddaughters, Sara (Michael) Eller of Dillon MT, Coty (Austin) Schiesser, Cayla (Clayton) Scott and Shelby Althoff (Josh) all of Billings, MT; Great- grandchildren, Logan, Jayce, Briar, Scarlett and a baby girl on the way; Daughter in law, Lindy Leffingwell of Clyde Park, MT; brother in law, Gary Wasnuk of Ekalaka, MT and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Mary, and brother George Jr.
