Steven J. Leffingwell, 82, of Mooreland passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center following a battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born September 18, 1942 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Clarence and Geneva (Hawkins) Leffingwell.

Steve was a 1960 graduate of Mooreland High School where he was a proud Bobcat and played basketball. He went on to graduate from Ball State University, earning his Bachelor’s degree in accounting. He also enjoyed racing, especially watching sprint cars. Steve could be seen most driving his golf cart around Mooreland alongside his wife, Babs. Steve was always kind but sometimes onery and loved being with his family and grandchildren.

(Selina) Glenn, Mark (Lindsay) Glenn and Sarah (Dustin) Kidd and several great nieces and nephews.
