Robert "Bob" Leffingwell, age 76 of Columbus, died Sunday August 24, 2025 at Riverside Hospital. Bob was born on September 13, 1948 in Columbus to the late Thomas and Anna (Newell) Leffingwell. He was a graduate of the Grove City HS Class of '66. After High School, Bob served his country during the Vietnam War serving aboard the USS Independence CV-62. He then drove tour busses for Greenlawn and Cardinal Lines as a career. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and sons Robert Jr. and George Grogg. He is survived by his wife Betty; daughter Holly Sizemore, grandchildren Dustin, Cheyenne, Dalton and Cici; three great-grandchildren, sister Sally, brothers Darryl, Tom, Denny, and Steve and numerous nieces and nephews and his dogs Baby and Peanut. He was a member of the Redman Lodge, Buckeye Boat Club, former member of the Grove City Vol Fire Dept. and the South Way Post of the American Legion #144. Friends may if they wish, contribute to the American Heart Association in his memory. Friends may call on Sunday August 31, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street in Worthington where a Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm.
