Hannah Brooke Agans Barnewolt, 23, of Rushville, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born on May 8, 1996, in Macomb, Illinois.

Surviving are her mother Heather Agans of Rushville, father and stepmother Brent and Dana Barnewolt of Rushville, fiancé Kyle Fitzjarrald of Rushville, two sisters Mallory Bowman of Rushville and Erin Porter of Evansville, Indiana, one brother Colton Barnewolt of Rushville, grandparents Doris “Dee” Agans of Camden, Larry and Debbie Agans of Marion, Sharon Delicath of Peoria, great grandfather Lloyd Hale of Camden, her future in-laws Mike and Rebecca Fitzjarrald of Rushville, a special nephew Ayden Fitzjarrald and several aunts, uncles and cousins, and her two dogs Kali and Diesel.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents Glenn Barnewolt, Lora “Tom” and Louise Agans and Florence Hale.

Hannah was a 2014 graduate of Rushville-Industry High School.  After high school, she babysat and worked for Tracy Allen Daycare.  She was currently working as a personal assistant through DORS in Quincy.

She was a Girl Scout and 4-H member.  She was very artistic.  She won many awards for her entries of cookies and other items at the Schuyler County Fair.  She absolutely loved animals and could not say no to adopting a pet and always had a guinea pig or various other animals. She enjoyed the television show Pitbulls and Parolees.  The most important trait that she had was that she put her family first.  She would drop whatever she was doing to help someone in need.  She was the happiest when she was with Kyle, the love of her life.

Private Services will be held at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville, with Brother Matt Haberman officiating.  Interment will be in the Camden West Cemetery, at Camden.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, December 22, 2019, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville.  Memorials are suggested to the Hub or the Schuyler County Humane Society.
