Hannah Grace Strong, age 21, of Scottsburg, passed away January 23, 2025. 

Hannah was born April 10, 2003 in Evansville the daughter of Jimmy and Tara Garrison Strong. She was a shining light from her first breath. She never met a animal that she didn’t love or try to pet. She was a proud graduate of Austin High School class of 2021. Hannah was active in various sports and clubs, including being a 4 year cheerleader, running cross country and track. 

She was preceded in death by her grandfather: Randell Garrison, John Carpenter, and Terri Carpenter. 

She is survived by her parents: Jimmy and Tara Strong, sister: Hattie Belle Strong, maternal grandparents: Lori Garrison and Mike (Mikey) Chandler, paternal grandparents: Wallace and Sharon Strong, and Rebecca Carpenter. Her faithful companion of 13 years: Scout, aunt: Cassie Lanham (James), aunt: Amy McIntosh (Bud), and Joyce Deaton (Joe), uncle: Matt Carpenter (Chasity), godmother: Brenda Whitney, many cousins, and more friends than you can count. 

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 9AM-until time of service.
