Hannelore Hearn ObituaryOn Thursday, October 23, 2025, Hannelore Hearn, loving wife and mother of 4 children passed away peacefully, at the age of 86.Hannelore was born on the March 10th 1939 in Dingolshausen, Germany to Emma Seufert (Winkler). She emigrated to New York, USA in 1955 and married Edward Gazerwitz on January 24,1959, gave birth to 2 sons, John and Paul and one daughter, Lucy. She was widowed on July 3rd, 1966 and remarried on the August 25th, 1968 to Howard T Hearn, giving birth to a son, Andrew.Hannelore was a devoted wife and mother and always put her family first. Nothing was beyond her ability to ensure her family was happy and thrived.She had many interests which included handicrafts, gardening, cooking and traveling. She found great pleasure in sharing her enthusiasm for these pursuits with everyone, enriching their lives immeasurably. She maintained fluency in her German mother tongue and her life was active and full, recently travelling to the East Coast and Germany. Even in her later years Hannelore was never afraid to continue the long-distance traveling that marked her teenage years and saw her arrival into the USA.Hannelore will be remembered for her cheerful nature, warmth, and kindness. She touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her and will be deeply missed by many.Hannelore was preceded in death by her late husband Edward Gazerwitz, her late husband Howard T. Hearn, mother Emma Winkler, brother Heinz Winkler and brother Hans Winkler. She is survived by her brother Benno Winkler, her four children, John Gazerwitz, Paul Gazerwitz, Lucy Genova (Gazerwitz), Andrew Hearn and 7 grandchildrenWe invite you to join us in A Celebration of her Life, held at her last place of residence The Palms at Sun City, on the 29th of October 2025To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Hannelore, please visit our floral store.
