Hans Fastre, 57, of Eden, Utah, passed away on August 29, 2025. Hans was born on March 31, 1968, in Belgium. As a child, Hans was a passionate horse rider. Living in Sweden with his family exposed him early to other cultures. After studying in Switzerland, he earned an MBA at Thunderbird in Arizona and remained in the United States ever since - now for over 35 years. His European roots were a source of pride, something he lovingly passed on to his two sons.

Hans was a dynamic leader in the natural foods industry, serving as a CEO known for his vision, drive, and integrity. Hans approached life with passion. He was an avid skier, mountain biker, and car enthusiast - never happier than when carving down a mountain, hitting a rugged trail, or taking to the open road. His love for the outdoors and adventure was a defining part of who he was. Hans also loved international travel and spoke five languages.

He is survived by his two beloved sons, Jason and Finn, his sister, Els Fastre, and Nanci Fastre, the mother of his children, with whom he shared many meaningful years. Hans will be remembered as a loving person, always giving to others and wanting others to be happy.

A private remembrance will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Hans are encouraged to spend time doing something he loved - breathing fresh mountain air, riding a trail, or appreciating a classic car.
