Born on November 30, 1957, in Ipswich, England to Norman and Muriel Squirrell. The family emigrated to the United States in 1965 settling in Rochester, NY. Passed suddenly on September 11, 2024, at 66 years old.
Harley is survived by his 3 children: Cassandra (Isra), Chelsea and Andrew. Grandchildren: Tyler, Aaliyah, Penelope, La'Niya and Khalid. Siblings: Brian Squirrell and Carole (Cole) Cooper. Many extended family members and friends.
Harley retired from Gates Big M after 29 years, mainly working in the produce department.
Harley's generosity and animated personality captured the hearts of all who knew him.
Harley was a down to earth guy who loved to have a beer and good laugh. The type of guy who would give a stranger the shirt off his back.
Harley was a classic rock enthusiast, some of his favorite bands were Queen and The Rolling Stones. Harley was a soccer, football and hockey fan.
Harley was courageous and resilient; he never allowed his disability to stop him from enjoying his life.
Harley absolutely adored his children and grandchildren.
He will be missed dearly by family and friends alike.
A celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Sunday November 3, 2024, at the Roger Robach Community Center of Ontario Beach Park. Located at 180 Beach Ave Rochester, NY 14612 from 12pm-4pm.
