He was born November 4, 1939, in La Porte, to Harold Quincy Adams Sr., and Phyllis (Parsell) Adams.
He is survived by his significant other, Margitta Boyle; four daughters, Penelope Adams Moon, Margaret Stuart, Katrina Thandi, and Melinda Adams; siblings, John Adams, Thomas Adams, and Kathleen Ziege; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jonna Rose (Meyer) Adams who passed on June 14, 2008; a brother, Joseph Adams; and his sister, Priscilla Lietzan.
Cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100, is caring for the arrangements.
