I have so many fond memories of Harold. He was my next door neighbor from the time I was born until I was 19 years old. He took me boating countless times, helped my dad build me a jungle gym, came to my birthday parties, and helped with all of my school fundraisers. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful man and will by greatly missed.

So very sorry to hear of Harold's passing. I will always remember him as the "good pigeon friend of my dad" Richard Althoff. Harold's smile and humor was pleasantly toxic! As a little girl, I knew him as the build it and fix it guy. He did extraordinary work no matter what he tackled. Everything was constructed to last forever. I was fortunate enough to run into Harold this past summer at the Polk County Fair. He remembered me right off which made my heart happy. May you rest in complete peace Harold, you will be missed greatly.
