Harold "Matt" Crow

Harold M. "Matt" Crow, 59, of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Trinity West Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born September 26, 1966, in East Liverpool, he was the cherished son of the late Harold and Elizabeth Thayer Crow. Matt was a graduate of East Liverpool High School, Class of 1984. He retired from the Bruce Mansfield Power Plant, where he worked as an operator. A natural tinkerer and collector, Matt enjoyed working with his hands and figuring things out. He was known for his wisdom, his comforting presence, and his great sense of humor-you could have a deep conversation with him and still share a laugh.
Matt was a devoted football fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Above all else, his grandchildren were the love of his life and truly lit up his world. He was loving and generous to a fault. Matt was a member of Elks Lodge #258 and enjoyed playing in a cornhole league.
Matt will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Annette Harris Crow, whom he married on November 11, 2011; his children, TiAera Crow, Tyler Crow, Robbie Harris (Cody Martsolf), and Leslie Astle (Ric); his grandchildren, Jaxson Triner and Parker Martsolf; and his siblings, Nancy Linger, Ed Crow (Chris), Carl Crow (Lydia), Melissa Faulkner (Terry), and Chuck Thayer (Tris Ann).
