Harold M. "Scott" Fraser, Jr., 74, a resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Sharon L. (Lord) Fraser.
He was born in Cambridge on May 27, 1951, and was the son of the late Harold M. Fraser, Sr. and Florence (Stewart) Fraser.
Scott was raised and educated in Cambridge, Billerica, and Tyngsboro before joining the army in 1968. After his honorable discharge in 1971, Scott worked for many roofing companies until branching out on his own. He owned and operated H.M. Fraser Roofing and Waterproof and S.R. Service until his retirement in 2014. He took great pride in being an NRA instructor and 32deg Scottish Rite Master Mason. Scott was a world traveler and also enjoyed playing golf, deep sea fishing, and loved to tell stories of his adventures.
Scott is survived by his daughter Alisha-Courtney Emerson and her husband Mark; his grandsons Zach, Kyle, and Jake, all of Dracut; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Marion (Fraser) Anderson, Bruce Fraser, Stanley Draper, Robert Draper, Florence "Sissy" Draper, and Paul "Rusty" Draper.
At the request of the family, all services and interment will be held privately.
