Claire Therese Larrivee

Claire Therese Larrivee, age 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Formerly a long-time resident of Lowell, MA, she was the beloved wife of Arthur G. Larrivee, Jr. who predeceased her in 1993.
She was born in Fall River, MA on September 26, 1933, and was the daughter of the late William and Alberta (Raymond) Morrissette.
Claire lived a long and rewarding life, always centered on her loving family. Her passion was bird watching, especially cardinals and hummingbirds. She loved doing word searches and jigsaw puzzles and especially watching game shows.
She was a long-time communicant of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes church in Lowell. Claire was very active in several of the church organizations, especially the CYO where many of the members fondly referred to her as "Ma". She worked in many area companies, lastly at Kelly Sheet Metal where she was office manager. She then retired to Dunedin, FL to be near her son and his family and escape the harsh New England winters. She always missed her fall foliage, and so it is fitting, she now returns here to her eternal rest in her favorite season of Autumn.
Claire is survived by her four loving children: Robert (Linda) Larrivee and Suzanne Neylon of Palm Harbor FL, Jeanne (Eric Bruce) Nugent of Dracut MA, and Michelle (Gerard) Languirand of Hudson, NH. She was the beloved "Mem" of six cherished grandchildren: Kevin M (Jodi) Nugent Jr, Kerri (Jayson) Licciardo, Shaun (Lauren) Neylon, Laura Larrivee, Karen (Michael) Collier, and Nicholas Languirand. Claire also had five adored great grandchildren: Jack and Kylie Neylon, Charlotte Goulet, Conner Nugent, and Dean Collier.
Claire is survived by her sister Diane Hickey and sister-in-law Clarie Petrin, both of RI, her brother-in law and wife George and Gloria Larrivee of FL, sister-in-law Evelyn Morrissette of MA as well as many nieces and nephews.
Claire is predeceased by her brothers William A, J. Raymond, and Charles A Morrissette, brother-in-law Michael Hickey, sister-in-law Mary Morrisette, and brother-in-law Robert Petrin.
Her Committal Service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 12pm at St. Joseph's Cemetery Chapel, Chelmsford. FRIENDS and RELATIVES KINDLY MEET AT THE CHAPEL.
