Harold (Harry) Fritz, 76, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, Harry spent his final years in Lansford, Pennsylvania, surrounded by family and the simple joys he cherished most.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Harry carried the same strength, humour, and optimism throughout his life that he showed in his service. He was known for always cracking a joke, keeping spirits light, and finding the good in every situation. To know Harry was to laugh with him - and often because of him.
Harry's greatest pride and joy was his family. He loved spending time with his children and especially his grandchildren, who brought endless smiles to his days. He is survived by his son, Justin Fritz, and his daughter, Kristen Fritz; his beloved grandchildren, Serenity, Jayden, Justin Jr., Bryson, and Adalyn; his sister, Mary (Susie) Beam, and brother, Theodore Fritz. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Fritz and Mary Watkins Fritz, and his sister, Roberta Herman.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Harry's life at a memorial service on October 12, 2025, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at Lamar Christ Funeral Home.
Harry will be remembered for his humour, warmth, and unwavering positivity. Though he will be deeply missed, the laughter and love he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew

Harold, you stand relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
