Mark Barnes

Mark Patrick Barnes, 45, of Breinigsville, PA died Sept. 25, 2025. Born In Elmira NY, he was

the son of Patrick Barnes and the late Karen Allyn Barnes. He will be remembered for his

unwavering pride in his children, athletic achievements, dedication in his workplace, and his

charismatic sense of humor.

A standout lacrosse player for Corning East High School, he went on to become a collegiate

force at Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. As a star of the lacrosse program, Mark earned

the distinction of three-time All-American, was elected to the MAC All-Conference team four

times, and was named MAC Player of the Year in 1999.

His exceptional talent was permanently recognized with numerous hall of fame inductions,

including the Lycoming College Athletic Hall of Fame (2007, as first lacrosse player), the MAC

Hall of Fame (2021), and the Corning East High School Hall of Fame.

In his professional life, he worked for The Children's Home of Easton and Wegmans in Nazareth

before beginning a near decade-long career at Uline. He took great pride in his final role there

and often spoke highly of his experience with the company and his coworkers.

Above all else, Mark's favorite thing in life was watching his three children in their various

endeavors and loved sharing their achievements with those he cared about. He enjoyed many

treasured friendships, and also found joy in sporting events, cooking, and camping.

Mark is survived by his father, Patrick Barnes of The Villages, Florida; his former wife Elizabeth,

and their sons, Jacob and Justin of Allentown, Pennsylvania; and his former wife Amber, and

their daughter, Kallie of Alburtis, Pennsylvania.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
