My first interaction with Harold was at Serenity Bend Park where his dog Mack and my dog Berry first met. I warned Harold she doesn't like small dogs in her face...but Mackie jumped in her face and tried to ride her back and she loved it. From then on we walked our dogs together everyday which eventually the dogs where Sadie and Tucker and now Sadie and Sherman. We shared some differences of opionion, but mostly agreed on lifes challenges. We were there for each other when called upon in need. Harold rooted for the Bears and I rooted for the Packers, probably the only thing where I came out ahead (lol). I will greatly miss Harold and the friendship we shared.

Dr. Gaarde was an amazing Superintendent and a really fine person. His success and humility were equally impressive. Congratulations on a life well led.
