Harold "Butch" Harr

Harold "Butch" Harr, born July 7, 1946, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on December 18, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Harr and Frankie "Kouns" Harr.
Butch came to Ohio in 1965, where he built a life rooted in hard work and dedication. He worked in construction for many years, earning the respect of those who worked alongside him and providing faithfully for his family.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Butch's life was defined by his love for family and the simple joys that brought him peace. An avid fisherman, he found his greatest happiness on the water, especially while taking his pontoon out on Hoover, where many cherished memories were made.
Those who knew Butch will remember his steady presence, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family, along with his quick wit and warm sense of humor. He loved to make jokes and share stories, bringing smiles and laughter to those around him. His quiet strength, gentle spirit, and joyful personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Jane (Ronk) Harr; his children, Lisa (Brad) Wilson, Debbie (Mark) Vair, Carrie (Andy) Gulley, and Kim (Shawn) Marioth; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his brother, Larry (Marsha) Harr; his sister, Devonna (Greg) Hall; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly and affectionately knew him as "Uncle Pudge."
Calling hours will be held on December 29, 2025, at Genoa Baptist Church, 7562 Lewis Center Rd, Westerville, OH 43082, beginning at 11:00 a.m., with funeral services to follow at 12:00 p.m.
Burial will follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens, 7060 OH-3, Westerville, OH 43082.
Butch's legacy of love, devotion to family, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures. The laughter he so freely shared will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
