Harold Glynn Hendrix, a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and cherished member of the community, passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 87 in Cleburne, Texas. Born on March 7, 1938, in Kimball Bend, Texas, Harold lived a life marked by dedication to his family and an unwavering commitment to his loved ones.
Harold is survived by his devoted children, David Hendrix, Dawn Davis, and Debra Ross and husband, Ron. He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, leaving behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Harold also had a close bond with his nieces and nephews, cultivating a spirit of family that will endure through the generations.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances Hendrix; his parents, Roy and Ethel Hendrix; and his siblings, Thurman Hendrix, Faye Dowdy, Louise Cook, and Muriel Stegall.
A funeral service in honor of Harold's life will take place at 1:00 P.M. on January 10, 2026, at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian, Texas.
Throughout his life, Harold was known for his kindness, humor, and unwavering support to those around him. His legacy will live on through the memories created with his family and friends, who will always cherish the moments spent in his presence. Harold Glynn Hendrix will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
