Harold Franklin "Benny Boy; Shining Star" Lightfeather

Harold Franklin Lightfeather 44 years old of Minneapolis, MN died January 15, 2026. He was born on July 20, 1981 to Brenda Askenette and Harold Lightfeather Sr. in Keshena, Wisconsin. Harold was known as "Benny Boy', he was given this nickname by his mother; his Indian name is Shining Star. Harold graduated from high school in Flandreau, South Dakota with the class of 2002 and attended some college in downtown Minneapolis, MN MCTC.

Harold never married but has a biological daughter, Angelina Shining Star Lightfeather, with Alicia Jones and always looked after her other three children like his own.
Harold loved playing basketball and always went to Cockroach Park to play.

Harold is survived by his sisters: Joey Goodman and Yvette Lightfeather; brother: Harold Lightfeather; "Benny" also had many nieces and nephews who he loved very much and many cousins that were more like brothers and sisters.

He is preceded in death by his mother: Brenda Askenette; father: Harold Lightfeather and sister: Joleen Goodman and nephew: baby Buff.
It hurts my soul to know I will never see you again in the physical form. I know Mom wants to hold her son again, we will always miss and love you forever brother!
