Harold Glen Parks, 87, of Indianapolis, Indiana entered into eternal rest on January 31st, 2024 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was born in French Lick, Indiana on July 21st, 1936 to Hermel G. and Rachel Irene (Mills) Parks.
Harold married Mary Alice Walters on August 18th, 1957 and she preceded him in death on April 1st, 2001
He was also preceded in death by his Parents, Sister – Norma Wilson, and Brother – Marvin Parks.
Harold was a 1954 graduate of French Lick High School, a member of Post Road Christian Church, received a Master Leadership Diploma in 1985 from Brookside Baptist Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and retired from Western Electric after 35 years.
He loved animals, gardening, mowing the lawn, coffee and cookies.
Harold is survived by:
Son – Rick Parks of Indianapolis, Indiana
Daughter – Karen Parks of Indianapolis, Indiana
Brother – Chester Parks of Paoli, Indiana
Sister – Doris Emmons of French Lick, Indiana and Bernetta Hendrix of Sun City West, Arizona
Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins
GRAVESIDE CEREMONY
A Graveside Ceremony will be conducted by Mike O'Neal on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Ames Chapel Cemetery with burial to follow.
VISITATION
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, February 8th, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cane Creek Cemetery, c/o Darwin Beck, 5090 S. County Road 1175 W, French Lick, IN 47432.
