Harold Carl Perry died January 8, 2025, at the age of 85 at his home in Burnet, Texas after a battle with leukemia. He was born September 8, 1939, in Crowley, Louisiana to Howard and Leah Perry. He graduated from Little Cypress High School in 1957 and attended Lamar University. He served in the U. S. Air Force for four years before returning to Orange where he worked for Chevron Chemical until his retirement in 1998. He was a long-time member of North Orange Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ann and his daughter Kerri, his son David, and his daughter-in-law, Sharon. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Rachel Szalony and husband Tylor, Daniel Perry and wife Tessa, and Beth Turner and husband Austin. He is also survived by his sister Cecile Nelson, brother Lyle Perry, and sister Joy Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Howard Perry.
A private ceremony will be conducted by the family. In lieu of flowers, he and the family request donations to Salvation Army or Wounded Warriors.
