Harold Dean Reece, Jr., born on January 4, 1959, in Guilford County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in his hometown on January 6, 2026, at the age of 67. A man of great warmth and kindness, Harold touched the lives of many with his generous spirit and infectious humor.

For many decades, Harold found purpose and fulfillment as a truck driver within the field of Shipping & Logistics. He possessed a deep passion for his work, taking immense pride in every journey he embarked upon. His love for the open road was rivaled only by his affection for his family and the simple joys of life.

Beyond his professional life, Harold found solace in the tranquility of freshwater fishing and the companionship of horses. His eyes would light up at the prospect of a day spent casting lines or riding through the countryside. These were moments that rejuvenated his spirit and connected him with the wonders of nature.

A devoted family man, Harold's heart overflowed with love for his family, especially his grandchildren. He cherished each moment spent with them and was known for his gentle guidance and unwavering support. His laughter was contagious, and he had a unique talent for lifting the spirits of those around him with his playful teasing and quick wit.

Harold was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Doris Greeson Reece and Harold Dean Reece, Sr.; his sister, Sharon Nance; brother-in-law, Eddie Minor; and nephews, Anthony Nance and Carson Minor. He is survived by his son, Jason Reece, and daughter-in-law Michelle, along with his cherished grandchildren, Haley and Dylan Reece. His sisters, Pam Minor and Cynthia McGee, and brother, Timothy Reece, also remain to carry forward his legacy of love and kindness.

Known for his humility and readiness to help anyone in need, Harold would freely give the shirt off his back to someone who needed it. He embraced life with an open heart and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

As we remember Harold Dean Reece, Jr., we celebrate a life well-lived with gratitude for the joy he brought into our lives. His generous spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us of the power of kindness and the importance of cherishing those we hold dear.
