REYNOLDS, Harold “Bud” Jr., age 78, passed away on October 8, 2025 in Cincinnati, OH. He was born in Newport News, VA, the son of the late Harold and Marian (nee Reiman) Reynolds.

Bud is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Rita (nee Ihle) Reynolds. Loving father of Chad (Nicole) Reynolds and Nicole (Adam) Black. Cherished grandpa of Arrow, Adler, Astoria, Gage, Kayla, and Jacob. Dear brother of Patricia (the late Timothy) Burns, Bill “Wormie” (Diane Rhinehart) Reynolds, Sandra (Ray) Pegram, and the late Judith Myers (Donald) Friedhoff. Treasured brother-in-law of Mary Ellen (the late Lawrence) Ihle, Janet (Thomas) Brunner, Daniel (Sue) Ihle, Brenda (the late Tommy) Ihle, and Tony (Sandy) Ihle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Bud had a unique talent for bringing smiles and laughter, often through his dry sense of humor. This was a constant throughout his life, whether you encountered him during his 30+ year career at Designeers Midwest, on the golf course, at the card table with Colerain high school friends, or on one of his wife's many international vacations—his signature bad jokes were always anticipated. He was creative in his own way, often doing things in reverse, like buying a Cadillac as a family car and then having to part with it for a mini-van. He adorned his front and back yard with every decoration imaginable, fancied himself a MacGyver, and gave it a go with "fashion"—those who knew him would remember his tracksuit phase, his multi-colored beard, and even his perm.

Despite his sharp mind, Bud's body faced numerous challenges. He endured long hospital stays, along with countless doctor visits and procedures. Yet, he consistently lightened the mood for others, never for himself. He was a true fighter, determined to spend every possible moment with his family, cherishing moments like watching his grandchildren swim, emptying his candy dish, and then falling asleep in his lap. He wanted to experience it all and did everything he could to be present. He never gave up. Never.
