Harold Arthur "Bud" Sunkle, age 83, of North Adams, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at his home. He was born July 31, 1939, in Jackson, to Richard Harold and Margaret (Stark) Sunkle. Bud married Denise Avery on December 6, 1980, and she survives.
Bud graduated from Vandercook Lake High School in 1971. He was formerly employed at Manchester Plastics, retiring after nearly 20 years of service. Bud was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed both hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed reading and playing poker. Bud loved spending time with his family and took great joy in sharing a few jokes and pranks with his loved ones.
In addition to his wife of 42 years, Denise Sunkle, Bud is survived by six children, Lee (Lynn) Ashworth of Battle Creek, John Sunkle of Norvell, Barb (Dan) Thornton of Livonia, Michelle Sunkle of Hillsdale, Nicole Kies of Jerome, and Rachel Kies of Jerome; nineteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don (Becky) Sunkle, and Dick (Jean) Sunkle; and two sisters, Diane, and Mary Lou.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents and numerous siblings.
A family graveside service for Harold "Bud" Sunkle will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Jackson. Arrangements are entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home in Jonesville.

So sorry too hear about Uncle Bud, he always had a smile on his face when talking with him. You will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace Uncle Bud. Love you.
