BATH - Harold Edward Swain, "Eddie", 62, of Bath, Maine passed away on February 4, 2019. Ed was born on October 22, 1957 in Brunswick, Maine to Howard P. Swain Sr. and Hazel L. Swain.
He worked in the sheetrock and plastering trades for many years up and down the east coast and was known as a master of his trade until his illness forced him to retire. He loved being outside at his two favorite places, Nequasset and Popham Beach.
Ed is survived by one son, Jake Swain of Daytona Beach, Florida; two daughters, Michelle Tinklepough and Sophie Swain; two brothers, Howard Swain and wife Brenda of Bath; Sherwood Swain and wife Janice of Woolwich; four sisters, Charlene Matts and husband David of Bath; Rose Simms and husband Steve of Brunswick; Sharon Lynch of Bath; and Betty-Ann Cavalloro of Bath; several nieces and nephews; his two best friends for over 40 years, Almon Morton and Tom Dyer; Also his second family of many years, the Bennets, who will surely miss him.
Rest high on the mountain my brother. There will be a celebration of life, time and place to be determined at a later date.
