Harold "Harry" Swift, Jr., age 87, passed away on August 24, 2025. Harry was born on April 10, 1938, to the late Margaret Bell and Harold Swift, Sr. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to the late Carol J. Swift, with whom he built a life rooted in loyalty, laughter, and shared purpose. Together, they raised two daughters, Stacey Swift-Rusmisel (deceased) and Julie Swift-Weber. Harry was the cherished grandfather to Stephanie Weber, Alex Weber, Kaleigh Rusmisel, and Kurt Rusmisel, Jr., and the great-grandfather of Mason Michael. He was the loving brother of Peggy Everden, and brother-in-law of Judy and Bryan Roub. Uncle to Paul (Amy), Brad (Debbie), Michael (Lauren), David, Sue, and Bob (Lisa). Harry was the proud owner of his own service station, while also being a talented salesman, selling automotive parts and Eagle Stamps. Both masculine and gentle, Harry was a skilled handyman, and he also loved spending time with his grandkids. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his strong-willed, determined, and tenacious spirit lives on in those who knew him. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 12:30-2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, where his memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM.
