Age 81, passed away peacefully on May 14th, one day before her 82nd birthday. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Ruth Greenberg; and brother, Matthew. Harriet is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Marvin; her sons, Tony (Erin) and Jeff (Julie); grandchildren, Josh, Ben, Asher, Jenna, Willa and Eli; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Len and Carole Levine; nephews and nieces, David Greenberg (Tamara), Julie Greenberg (Jamie), Mark Levine, Randi Levine (Josh), and Michele Levine; and great nieces and nephews, Thea Greenberg, Isaac, Etai, and Anna Wert. Born May 15, 1943, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Harriet dedicated her life to family and to her passion for serving others. For over two decades Harriet served students at Highland Park Senior High School as the College and Career Resource Specialist. Upon retirement, Harriet spent time in various roles in the admissions office at the University of Minnesota, the Travelers Assistance Program at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, and as a volunteer with Feline Rescue. One of Harriet's greatest joys was hosting family and friends. Whether holidays or backyard get togethers, gathering family and friends allowed her to share another passion, which was her love of cooking. You could also always find her at Jeff's Bloomington Jefferson High School concerts, watching football games coached by Tony, and all events that involved her grandchildren. Funeral service 2:00 PM Friday, May 16th at Temple of Aaron Synagogue at 616 Mississippi River Boulevard in St. Paul. Also available on live stream at www.hodroffs.com/HarrietLevine (direct link below) SHIVA will take place on Saturday, May 17th at 7:00 pm at 916 Barbara Court, Mendota Heights, MN 55118. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harriet's name to Feline Rescue in St. Paul.

Harriet was a promoter of all she treasured: education, faith, family, friends, animals, music, sports, city, state. She kept people together by relentlessly calling, sending cards, arranging and maintaining connections. She did the same in the Career Resource Center at HP Senior High, connecting students with lifelong learning and training in all areas of talent and skills. She loved being a part of building dreams and making them come true. We love and celebrate our dear colleague and friend.

So many memories from our days at highland senior high school. Harriett“s dedication to all the people in her life was such an inspiration. We still feel her influence.
