Harrison Lowden Obituary

Harry retired from the Rochester Telephone Company after being a lineman for many years. He drove school bus for Greece School District, and over the span of 25 years served in the Greece Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Harry enjoyed his weekly Wednesday morning breakfast with friends and investigating his family's genealogy. He will be missed by all.
Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, March 24th from 4 - 7 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue in Hilton followed by his Funeral Service at 7 pm.
Donations can be made in memory of Harry to the Greece Historical Society and Museum, 595 Long Pond Rd., Rochester, NY 14612.

To Harrison's wife and daughters- I was so sorry to hear about his passing. He was such a joy to work with when I interviewed him for our Pioneers of Greece book. He was so knowledgeable about his family's history in the town and I enjoyed learning about his family's immense contributions to Greece. It was my honor to tell the story of the Lowden and Butts family in the book. Greece Historical will remember him in our upcoming newsletter and I will treasure the time I spent with him. I hope his wonderful smile can comfort you at this difficult time, He will be missed!
