Harrison Samuel Stamathis, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2023, at his residence in Bel Air, Maryland. Born on April 14, 1988, in Baltimore, Maryland, Harrison grew to be a beacon of kindness and innovation, touching the lives of all who knew him.
A devoted son, Harrison was born to George Samuel Stamathis and Kimberley Ann Stamathis, whose love and guidance shaped him into the remarkable man he became. As a loving brother, he shared an unbreakable bond with Nick Stamathis and his wife Kristen, Sam Stamathis, Andy Stamathis and his wife Kara, Ali Gavazzi and her husband Keith, and Captain Will Stamathis. Harrison's role as an uncle to Alexander, Jaxon, Cora, Wyatt, Isabella, and Giana was one he cherished deeply, always striving to be a role model and a source of joy in their lives. His playful spirit will be fondly remembered by his beloved furry companions, Jerry and Starbutt, who were his constant shadows and brought him immeasurable happiness.
After graduating from high school, Harrison channeled his passion for technology, science, and space into creating his own YouTube channel focused on Epilepsy, where he shared his knowledge and enthusiasm with a community of like-minded individuals. His love for his nieces and nephews was evident in every aspect of his life; he was fiercely protective, endlessly loyal, and always sought ways to bring smiles to their faces.
Harrison lived a life marked by bravery and a genuine desire to help others. He embraced a healthy Keto diet, not only for his well-being but as a testament to his discipline and commitment to living life to the fullest. He also enjoyed Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey.
A totally immersed gamer, Harrison found joy and camaraderie in the virtual worlds of video games, especially loving Minion Masters & Overwatch. His competitive spirit and strategic mind were matched only by the warmth and laughter he shared during gaming sessions with friends.
An avid fan of action movies, Harrison could often be found quoting lines from Arnold Schwarzenegger films or discussing the intricate plot twists of John Wick and True Lies. His love for the genre was just another facet of his multifaceted personality - one that was full of surprises and depth.
Those who knew Harrison would describe him as loving, thoughtful, and kind. He had a gift for making people feel seen and heard, and his presence was a comforting one, whether in times of joy or sorrow.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Harrison's life at Evans Life Celebration Home-3 Newport Drive (Rts 23 and 24) -Forest Hill on Saturday, December 23 from 2-4 PM with a time of sharing and reflecting.
