Harry Brunson Obituary
Harry was a multi-talented man whose main joy was getting together with his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends. He loved to sit around with family and friends telling stories. Harry was a barber for over 60 years. He was a self-taught accordion player that he loved to play. Harry also enjoyed cooking and gardening. He was a member of the Old Timers Boxing Club. Harry had a heart of gold and loved helping people.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Brian Brunson of Sulphur, Tim Brunson (Monique) of Lake Charles; daughters, Tressie Brunson of Sulphur, Kim Perry (Darby) of Sulphur; grandchildren, Nikki Myers (Chad) of Ragley, Anna Perry of Sulphur; great grandchild, Hawkins Abram Myers.
Harry was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Sarah Brunson; sister, Patricia Scimemi; parents Otha and Beulah Brunson; grandchild, Baylee Clare Perry.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am, Saturday, January 22,2022, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Father Edward Richard, M.S. will officiate. Burial to follow at Big Woods cemetery of Edgerly. Visitation will be at the Father Vecchio Hall at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Friday, January 21, 2022, from 5 pm to 8 pm with a Recitation of the Rosary at 6 pm. Visitation will resume 8 am – 10 am, Saturday.
