Harry Joseph Ferrone Jr.

Harry Joseph Ferrone, Jr., 79, of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Born and raised in Rockaway, New Jersey, Harry's roots ran deep in the community, where he made lasting friendships. He was a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served his country during the Vietnam War with courage and honor. Harry moved to Florida 40 years ago. He worked as a Preventive Maintenance Tech at BlueGreen Vacation Resorts at World Golf Village, where he became a valued part of the team. Harry's favorite pastimes included riding his Harley-Davidson and taking his dune buggy out for drives with his longtime partner, Mary Marino, and his beloved dog, Levi. He is survived by his long-time partner, Mary Marino; his children: William (Billy) Ferrone (Laredo, TX), Christopher Ferrone (Jacksonville, FL), Michelle Ferrone Cameron (Newton, NJ), and Micheal Ferrone (Lake Hopatcong, NJ); along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry J. Sr. and Dorothy Ferrone. A memorial service to honor Harry's life will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Johns Family Funeral Home in St. Augustine, with military honors bestowed by the United States Marine Corps.
