Harry A. Jero

Harry Arthur Jero, 91, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Autumn Lake Healthcare.
He was born on March 23, 1932 in Beloit, WI, the son of Raymond and Roselyn (Kingdon) Jero. Harry was a 1949 Beloit High School graduate. He later attended the Rockford Business College. Harry was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the United States Navy. He married Patricia Schwerinski on June 5, 1954 in St. Paul's Catholic Church, Beloit, WI. She predeceased him on December 26, 2003.
Harry was formerly employed by Fairbanks Morse as the Cost Accountant until his retirement in 1979. He was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church, Beloit, WI. Harry was a member of the 1949 Beloit American Legion Baseball Team, which was inducted into the Beloit Historical Society Sports Hall of Fame.
Survivors include his children, Steve (Mary) Jero of Madison, WI, Mike (Charlotte) Jero of Beloit, WI, Cheri (Tim) Adleman of South Beloit, IL, Daniel Jero of Beloit, WI, and Julie (Darrel) Gilbertson of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Matthew Jero, Angela McCaslin, Ryan (Tiffany) Adleman, Ashley (Kevin) Callahan, and Tanner Mickelson; great-grandchildren, Brandon Jero, Laney McCaslin, Ethan McCaslin, Mason Callahan, Grayson Callahan, Payton Adleman, Bennett Adleman; brother, Bobby Jero of Minneapolis, MN; several nieces and nephews.
Harry was predeceased by his parents and siblings.
A Funeral Service for Harry's family and friends will be held. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements. Burial will be in Mt. Thabor Cemetery.
