Harry Margiolos Obituary

Harry "Sonny" Margiolos, a native Houstonian, passed away peacefully August 5, 2020 at the age of 88.  He was a proud Navy veteran that served in the Korean war aboard the U. S. S. General H.W. Butner and had a life long love for fishing. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Joyce; children, Carolyn Margiolos, Mike Margiolos and wife, Amy, David Margiolos and wife, Jingli, Ron Rubanowice, Lynn Duff and husband, Randy; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Clara Margiolos; daughter, Michelle Pruitt; sisters, Irene Abercia and Annette Kaleel. 

The family will receive friends for a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 6502 County Road 48, Manvel, Texas 77578. A graveside service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023. Arrangements have been entrusted to Claire Brothers Funeral Home, 7901 Hillcroft Street, Houston, Texas 77081.
