Harry Roman Spanke

Douglas Co. Colorado – Harry Spanke, son of Roman and Margaret Spanke, passed away peacefully in his home at Windcrest retirement community. Services will be at 11am on November 30th at Windcrest Highline building, Red Rocks room. Burial will be in the spring of 2025 at, West Berlin Cemetery in Allenton, Michigan. 

He has passed into love to be with his Lord and with his wife Priscilla who departed in April of 2022. He met her while attending high school at De La Salle in Detroit Michigan. They married in 1963 and after graduating from Wayne State University in Business Administration. They traveled the world together collecting memories as their most precious possessions alongside their three children, Tamara (spouse David), Matthew (spouse Monica), and Pamela.

Harry was the last of his siblings, and yearned for the day he would be reunited with Priscilla. He is survived by all three of his children and their children. His grandchildren are Hallie, Spenser, Andrew, Roman, Kylee, Reece, Madisen, and Cooper. He has one great-grandchild, Grayson. 

Preceded in death by his loving wife Priscilla, his parents, Roman and Margaret Spanke, his brothers Timothy and Gary, and also his mother and father in-law, Thelma and Fredrick, brother-in-laws Fredrick Jr, Rodger, and Denise. Also preceded by son-in-laws Martin Kiser and Terry Amick
