Priscilla Spanke

Obituary
Priscilla Spanke, age 78, died peacefully with family by her side at Mill Vista Lodge in Highlands Ranch, Colorado on April 2, 2022. Priscilla was a graduate of Roseville High School in Detroit, Michigan. She met Harry Spanke when they were in high school. They were married in 1963 and remained together for 59 years. Together they had three children.
Everyone who met Priscilla know how kind and generous she was. Priscilla had a competitive spirit and was full of light and joy. She loved to bowl, play bridge, and tennis. Priscilla loved to travel, her favorite place to go was Maui, Hawaii. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Harry Spanke; children, daughter, Tamara (David), son, Matthew (Monica), and daughter, Pamela (Marc). Her grandchildren, Hallie, Spenser, Andrew, Roman, Kylee, Reece, Madisen, and Cooper; her great-grandson, Greyson; her brothers, Steve (Denise), Dennis, and David (Claudia); and many nieces and nephews.
Priscilla is preceded in death by her parents, Thelma, and Frederick Chalmers; her mother-in-law, Margaret Spanke; her father-in-law, Roman Spanke; her brothers, Frederick Chalmers, and Roger Chalmers. Her brothers-in-law, Gary Wayne Spanke, and Timothy Spanke; and sons-in-law, Martin Kiser, and Terry Amick.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Tiffany-Young and Hauss Funeral Home in Armada, Michigan from 2:00pm – 8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary Mystical Rose Church on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:00am. Burial will take place following the Mass at West Berlin Cemetery. Arrangements in Michigan are being taken care of by Tiffany-Young and Hauss Funeral Home, 73919 Fulton St., Armada, MI 48005.
