Harry Lee Stephens, 83, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on September 13th, 2025. He was born on March 5th, 1942, in Carlton, Texas, to Harry B. Stephens and Madeline Bratcher. Harry grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated from Arlington Heights High School, where he excelled in academics and played baseball.
Following high school, Harry:
· Served in the Army National Guard
· Graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Business Management, from San Antonio College
· Worked at Montgomery Ward, where he started as stock boy and eventually became a Territory Manager, retiring from Montgomery Ward after 37 years of service.
Harry was a dedicated Husband, Father, Grandfather and Christian. What he enjoyed the most, was spending time with his family, reading his bible and watching sports. Harry was preceded in death by his spouse, Shirley Ann Stephens and son, Gary Lynn Stephens.
Harry is survived by his sons, Robert Lee Stephens of Arlington, Texas, and Richard Allen Stephens of Crowley, Texas. His grandchildren Kayla, Christopher, Dylan, Macy, Reese and Megan; and his great grandsons Liam and Renzo.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas at 2pm on Friday September 19th, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1pm, prior to the service.
