Harry Anthony Sudekum, Sr., 86, of Hendersonville, TN passed away on September 19, 2025, surrounded by family.
Harry was born on March 8, 1939 to C. M. Sudekum and Helen Sudekum. Harry grew up in Nashville, TN and graduated from Isaac Litton High School where he played football and was known as "Bear."
Harry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Harry loved his family and seeing the world traveling to the Holy Land, Hawaii, Aruba, Mexico, Bahamas, Florida, and all over the Southwest United States.
Harry had a heart for the Lord and served Him with his time and service by being an usher, choir member, church treasurer, Sunday School teacher and superintendent, working the sound system, and working in the bus ministry.
Harry is survived by his wife, Joyce Hurt Sudekum, of 51 years, daughter Connie (Tracey), son Tony (Theresa), son David (Amy), daughter Lora (Jonathan), and eight grandchildren, Austin, Hannah, Caitlin, Joshua, Kayla, Abby, Andy, and lan.
Harry will be loved and missed until we are reunited one day.
Visitation for Harry will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 12 noon until 3:00 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E Main St. Hendersonville, TN 37075). A private graveside for the family will be held following visitation.
