Funeral Service for Harvel Phillip "Phil" Brown, 65 of Anniston, will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Thomas officiating the service. Burial will follow the service at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
Mr. Brown passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years Toni Brown, his parents Harvel and Audrey Brown, his sister, Sue Clay, and his brother, Jerry Brown.
Left to cherish the memory of him is his son, Phillip Cory Brown (Tara), his grandchildren, Sahara Brown (Scott), Brighton-Kate Brown, Harvie-Kristina Brown and Jacie Mitchell, his great grandchildren, Shaylee Pritchett, Adriona Gray, Famantha Gray, Saydee Rayne, Destiny Gray, Haylee Gray and Miley Gray, his sister, Kathy Brown, many nieces and nephews, his God Children, Taylor Clabo, Jhayda Trent (McKenzie), his Brother and Sister In Law, Scott and Tammy Shaddix and his Father In Law, James "Pop" Norton.
Mr. Brown was a proud 1978 graduate of Saks High School. He was proud to play as a pitcher on the Saks High School Baseball Team. He was happily married to the love of his life Toni Brown. The two of them were married for 43 years. Mr. Brown worked for 25 years with the City of Anniston as the Street Superintendent. He loved his family but especially loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
The Pallbearers will be Scott Gray, Jimmy Wilson, Billy Wayne Flemming, Scott Shaddix, Toby Falk and Johnny Kelley.
