Harvey was born on December 7, 1951 in Manchester, TN to the late Forest Anthony and Martha Riddle Anthony. He worked for Trott Lumber Company for many years and Shelbyville Public Works. Harvey was an avid fisherman, he also enjoyed watching westerns and wrestling.
Survivors include his children; James (Kristi) Anthony, Nathan Anthony, and Jason Anthony all of Shelbyville, TN, grandchildren; Jay (Zoey) Anthony of Shelbyville, TN, Haley Anthony and Kateland Anthony both of the Flat Creek Community of Bedford County, Marah Anthony of Shelbyville, TN, Dalton Anthony and Summer Anthony both of Connersville, TN, great grandchildren; Ada-James Anthony, Clinton Riggs Anthony, Jade Rutledge, and Ellie Cunningham, bonus grandchildren; Caelan Presscott, Isabel Hinojosa, Amiah Jones, Jaxen and Bryce Carlen.
Along with his parents Harvey was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years; Carolyn Jane Anthony, great grandchildren; Cayden, Lucas, & Zayne Rutledge.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Saturday August 30, 2025 at Concord Cemetery in Coffee County with Ray Carter officiating.
Visitation with the family will be held Friday August 29, 2025 at Doak-Howell Funeral Home from 4-7 PM.
Doak-Howell Funeral Home is serving the family.
