Harvey Rice Obituary
A native of Greeneville, TN, Harvey was a son of the late Lou Ella Rice Lindholm and Jack Rice. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Frances Louise Cook Rice; sister, Annie Lee Bates; and brothers, Grover and Curtis Rice.
Mr. Rice retired from Biltmore Dairy Farms. In his free time, he enjoyed auto-racing and had made many trips to Daytona. He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Addie Rickman; brother-in-law, Jerry Cook; and many nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends at Groce Funeral Home, Patton Ave., beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 12. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Rendell Hipps, Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will then take place at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
