EAST BRUNSWICK – HARVEY BERNARD WILDSTEIN passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at his residence in East Brunswick. He was 91 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, to Irving and Jean (nee Spritz) Wildstein, he resided there for 20 years, before moving to New Brunswick for 25 years, and finally settled in East Brunswick 46 years ago.
Prior to retiring in 1989, Harvey was the owner of City Bakery in New Brunswick for 25 years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia and was an avid Yankees fan. He also enjoyed watching baseball and westerns on tv, listening to Frank Sinatra music and spending time talking with his family and friends.
Harvey is predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Frances Wildstein, who passed in 2023.
Surviving are his daughters, Gail Rizick and her husband, Stuart, of Old Bridge and Shari Wilder and her husband, Richard, of Los Angeles; his sister, Eileen Wallerstein; and his grandchildren, Arynn Rizick and her husband, Tony Le, and Maddax Wilder.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 11:15 am, at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, NJ, under the direction of MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, East Brunswick, NJ. For directions, please view our "Events" listed below.
