Hattie B. McBride, a beloved member of the Augusta community, passed away peacefully on October 24 2024, at the age of 72. Born on January 10, 1952, Hattie dedicated her life to making a positive impact on those around her. Throughout years, she cultivated relationships that exemplified kindness, compassion, and unwavering support.
Hattie enjoyed a fulfilling career, ultimately retiring to embrace the joys of family and community involvement. Her warm spirit touched many lives, and she was known for her generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting word to those in need. Hattie was a beacon of light, radiating love and positivity wherever she went.
In remembrance of Hattie’s remarkable legacy, her family and friends invite all to join them for a Visitation on Monday, November 4, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901. This gathering will provide an opportunity for all whose lives Hattie touched to come together in her honor.
Following the Visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM, also at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home. This special service will celebrate the vibrant life Hattie lived and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of all who knew her.
As we bid farewell to a truly remarkable woman, let us carry forward Hattie's legacy of love, kindness, and community spirit. She will be profoundly missed but forever cherished in our memories.
