Hazel Brewer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery - Nashville on Feb. 25, 2025.
Hazel was a wonderful wife and mother to her 6 children: Melissa, Tommy, Jr., Michael, Thomas, Stephanie, and James. She was an excellent cook, and she was especially loved for her homemade gravy and biscuits and chicken and dumplings. She was a selfless caregiver, and her generosity of spirit led her to help anyone in need. If you were hungry, she would make sure you were well fed. In need of a place to sleep, she would make sure there was a place for you under her roof. Tommy, her husband for over forty years and her children never lacked for her attention or care. At one time she was the manager at Dollar General and enjoyed the busy hustle and bustle of helping her customers and employees.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Cordelia Brewer, sons, Tommy Brewer, Jr., Thomas Brewer, and James Brewer.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are husband, Tommy Brewer, children, Melissa Brewer, Michael Brewer, Stephanie Brewer, Shannon Earps and Kayla Earps, grandchildren, Billy Brewer, Tiffany Burgess, Miranda Burgess, Jessica Brewer, Destiny Brewer, Hailey Brewer, Raylynn Brewer, Jonathan Brewer, Jeremy Earps, Christopher Earps, and Robert Taylor, and great-grandchildren, Carrisa Baker, Talia Baker, Chloe Burgess, Sophia Burgess, Mariah Earps, and Billy Cox, Jr.
