Hazel Browder Obituary
Hazel is survived by her children, Vivian "Kathy" Hefner and husband, Richard of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Paula Street and husband, David Eugene of Mount Vernon, Illinois, and Robin Yocum and husband, Steve of Effingham, Illinois; grandchildren, Deana Weaver and husband, Keith, Christy Hefner, Rebecca Hefner, April Holland and husband, Jesse, Sam Street, Tyler Yocum and wife, Rachel, Trent Yocum and wife, Whitney; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Birran and husband, Timothy, Blaze Baird, Zoe Holland, Sadie Holland, Huxley Yocum, and Baby Yocum expected soon.
In addition to her parents and husband, Hazel was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Victoria B. Baird; sister, Nadine Grisko; and brother, Bud Hughes.
Hazel loved Jesus first and forever. Next she loved her family, puzzles, yahtzee, and sharing her wisdom with her children.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin 1:00 pm with Mr. Marty Mills officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois.
