Hazel Lorraine Buckner

Leicester, NC – Hazel Lorraine Buckner, 70, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed from this life into her heavenly home on Saturday November 23, 2024.
She was devoted to her Lord all her life and led a life of prayer. Her greatest joy was to have her family around her. She was devoted to her family, great-grandchildren, and loved them so very much. She was born in Asheville NC on March 1, 1954 to William and Naomi Justice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Naomi, son, Don Arlen Jr., and brother, William Junior Justice.
Left to cherish sweet memories are: husband of 55 years, Don Arlen Buckner, sisters Carol Angell and her husband Mike, Janice Pope and her husband Brian, and Fran Justice and her husband John, children: Matthew Buckner and Linda Buckner; Grandchildren, Sherri Farrell and her husband Dennis, Joshua Christopher and his wife Sarah, Jeremy Buckner, and Haley Buckner; and Great-Grandchildren, Wesley Arlen Christopher, and Bonnie Catherine Farrell.
Services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Madison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00pm and the funeral service will be held at 1:00pm with Pastor Mike Angell officiating.
Burial will be at Newfound Baptist Church.
