Hazel Davis Obituary
Hazel was born on May 14, 1935, at Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Alpha and Dorothy Geal Malory Kimbler.
Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Barbara Kimbler, Agnes Kimbler, Mae Lesher, Mabel Conley, Gladys Campbell, and Joyce Nelson; brother, Charles Kimbler; her faithful husband, Fred Wilson Davis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hezekiah and Rose Ellen Roberts Davis; sons-in-law, Jimmy Workman and Jonathan Howard.
She married the love of her life, Fred Wilson Davis, in 1951 and remained a widow for forty-two years after his sudden passing at the age of forty-nine. Hazel was a born again Christian and put her faith in her Lord Jesus and His Word.
Those left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her children, Linda Finley (Gary), Jenny Workman, Jimmy Davis (Delaine), Debra Howard, and Michael Davis (Joe); grandchildren, Jill Workman (Sam), Jimmy Davis (Cathy), Nakia Marcum (Brian), Jason Mandola (Mary Ann), and Jonetta Lake (Mike); great grandchildren, BJ Marcum, Kailee Christian (Chris), Alexandria Marcum (Chris), Dalton Davis, Chance Marcum, Emily Lake, Colton Davis, Noah Pinder, and Isaac Pinder; great-great grandson, Cooper Myles Christian; sister, June Vaughn of Louisa, KY; and many friends and extended family.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Community Memorial Gardens at Wayne, WV, with Bro. John Cavins officiating.
The family would like to give a special thank you to St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV and Evans Funeral Home in Chapmanville, WV for their loving care of our mother.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
