Hazel Haseley

Of the Town of Cambria, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at North Gate Health Care Facility. She was born at home in the Town of Lewiston, NY, on December 26, 1928, a daughter of the late Elmer and Elsie [Walck] Kroening.

Mrs. Haseley was a graduate of LaSalle High School. She served as the tax collector for the Town of Cambria for many years before becoming an office clerk with the Niagara County Real Property Office in Lockport before retiring.

Mrs. Haseley was a life long member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Pekin, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the LWML. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards and bowling.

She was the wife of 57 years to the late Alfred E. Haseley, who passed away in August of 2006.

Mrs. Haseley is survived by her children, Susan Haseley, Sandra (Thomas) Seefeldt, Darwin (Debbie) Haseley, Faye (Peter) Vogt, Jeffrey (Doreen) Haseley, a sister of Doris (late Dennis) DeVantier, a sister in law Shirly Kroening, also 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Martin, John (June), Raymond (Rose), Herbert (Jeanette), Harry (Jeanette) Kroening.

Her funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Andrew Lutheran Church, 3229 Upper Mountain Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Kurt Schultz officiating.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

Interment will be in the St. Andrew Lutheran Cemetery, Cambria, NY.
