A graveside service for Hazel “Christine” Lopez, 85, will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., in Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Darl Lanning.
Christine was born on February 1, 1940, in Leesville, Louisiana to James Bybee and Agnes Worthey Utz and passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Christine is preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Utz; daughter, Janie Lopez Reynolds Robinson; son, Clifford A. Lopez; brother, John Utz; and niece, Gail Smith. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Milton Lopez and wife, Patty; daughter, Diane Bernard and husband, Dr. Jeff Bernard; son, Gary Lopez and wife, Kandi; and son, Randy Lopez and wife, Luci; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Phillip, Kristopher, Kara, Emmie, Ryan, Haley, Katie, Randa, Lyndi; 10 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Franklin Utz.
Christine will be terribly missed, but we will forever cherish her memory and find solace that she is now at home with her Lord and Savior.
