Hazel M Premecz

Hazel M. (Nagel) Premecz, 102, of Allentown, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 20, 2025, with her family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph F. Premecz, with whom she shared fifty-nine years of marriage until his passing in 2007. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of George M. Nagel and C. Maybelle (Link) Nagel.

For more than three decades, Hazel worked alongside her husband in the family real estate business, Premes Realtors. She was an active member of the former Quota International and had a natural gift for connecting with people, always eager to hear their stories. Hazel loved traveling with her husband, especially their memorable trip to Hungary. She was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Allentown.

She is survived by her son Robert Premecz, husband of Joan Ellen, of Allentown; her daughter Joan Sheetz, companion of Kenneth Fogle Jr., of Allentown; and her grandchildren Laura, wife of Scott Erich, of Georgia, and Joseph Premecz of Allentown. She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter Donna Eltz.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown, PA 18102. A calling hour will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by interment at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Hazel's memory to the Lehigh Valley Humane Society, c/o the funeral home.
