She was born July 19, 1925, the daughter of the late Walter and Eva (Dennison) DeVault.
In addition to her parents, Hazel is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Sumey; daughters Kathy and Joyce; and son Gary.
Hazel is survived by her daughters Lois Sumey Mullins of New Middletown, OH and Donna Hager Baird of Farmington, PA; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON on Friday December 6 from 10am until 11am the hour of the funeral service with Pastor Steve Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Sansom Chapel Cemetery.
